Pure Figgin' Gold

Feeling bougie? The rich figs combine with the warming ginger and spices to create a sumptuously luxurious cocktail. Even before you add the gold leaf, this drink oozes class and charm.


  • 2 oz Broken Shed Vodka
  • 0.5 oz ginger liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz clove and honey syrup
  • 2 bar spoons fig jam
  • 1 egg white
  • Garnish: dehydrated fig and edible gold leaf

Clove and Honey Syrup

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup clover honey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons whole cloves

Add everything to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve. Allow to cool, then store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.


Dry shake all the ingredients (except the club soda), then shake again with ice.

Double strain into a highball glass, then slowly add the club soda. Garnish with the edible flowers.
