Smoke on the Water

For fans of mezcal's spirited, smokey flavour, this martini is a must try. Be sure to check out our video on how to easily prepare the garnish.








  • 2.5 oz Broken Shed Vodka
  • 0.5 oz mezcal
  • Garnish: 1 grapefruit twist


Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the grapefruit twist (watch video).

Makes 6 Cocktails
Making drinks for a crowd? To a 750 ml glass bottle that will fit comfortably in your freezer, add 15 oz Broken Shed Vodka, 3 oz mezcal, and 3 oz filtered water. Seal the bottle, turn it a few times to incorporate the ingredients, and store in your freezer for at least 3 hours before serving.
To serve, pour 3.5 oz into a chilled martini glass, and garnish with a grapefruit twist.
